I mean Gangle's mouth is just drawn on and doesn't even have a body to digest or store the food in. Ragatha's mouth seems to be similar. I think Pomni and Jax are the only ones with actual mouths, with teeth to chew the food (though it seems Jax has to open his mouth REALLY wide to get his teeth apart).

Gangle appears to be made up of four candy red ribbons that form a humanoid shape. Her face is a white porcelain mask with black eyes and mouth.

The gang now indecisive which door to go through, Jax grabs Gangle's comedy mask off her face and throws it into the scary door, which turns into a giant, monstrous mouth and swallows it, upsetting Gangle.
