The Sheriff Department’s Gang Enforcement Team is specifically structured to suppress and prevent gang activity within the Orange County Sheriff Department’s jurisdiction. The team utilizes a multi-pronged approach in combating criminal street gangs.

The Orange County Gang Reduction and Intervention Partnership ("OC GRIP") is a program involving multiple organizations, agencies, and volunteers to prevent kids from participating in gang activity and enhances the relationship between the Orange County District Attorney's office, local law enforcement, and community policing.
