Gándara Center provides culturally sensative, bilingual, mental health, substance use, residential, community and preventive services for children, adults and families across the state of Massachusettes.

The Gandara Center offers services at over 40 locations across the state of Massachusetts.

The Gándara Center specializes in providing a variety of bilingual, bicultural services to youth with serious emotional disturbances (SED) and their families using a wraparound approach.

Fortunately, in 1977—and later as a part of President Jimmy Carter’s Mental Health Systems Act of 1980—funding was made available to communities across the country to address the mental health needs of individuals suffering from serious mental illness, including the elderly, and racial and ethnic minority communities.

Designed to increase the family’s ability to support the healthy functioning of a youth within the family, home, and community. The In-Home Therapy team is made up of practitioner(s), family, and youth.

Group sessions for men with a history of domestic or partner violence. Interventions focus on stopping the violence by helping the batterer to identify, confront, challenge and change controlling and abusive behavior towards their partner and children.

Services are delivered by one or more professional and paraprofessional staff who offer a combination of medically necessary behavior management therapy and behavior management monitoring.

Bilingual and bicultural counseling services are available for adults, youth, children, couples and families at sites across the state.
