Travels in Italy revived childhood dreams of fairytale castles and mythic narratives where birds speak, horses fly, and sculpture sometimes comes to life. In my painting series Invisible Gardens I have tried to evoke some of the fantasy and mystery these trips engendered.

Gail S. Fox of Penn Valley, PA passed on March 7, 2025. Gail was the beloved wife of Norman Fox; loving mother of Brian Fox (Kelly) and Michael Fox (Jaime); the adoring grandmother of Sean, Erin, Owen, and Jordan; and the devoted sister of Joel Schreiber (Ronni).

Gail Fox is primarily self-taught. Her long time love of horses and equine graphite drawings prompted her to begin sketching. Plein air painting is a favorite experience. Her love for all-things-natural is captured in her art and jewelry.
