Dec 18, 2002 · The version was 280.26, and installed nicely on both the 9400m and GTX 260m cards installed in the laptop. I have tried numerous times to update the drivers for my M17x, but each time new drivers are released I get an incompatible hardware message. Do drivers exist for the 260m card series?

I recently updated my GTX 260M drivers from a 180 version to the 257.38 driver version. This is the version recommended by my laptop maker (Dell/Alienware). I've been getting some interesting results.

Additional information - I have checked and according to specs my card pulls a max of 160 watts. The newer laptop cards, lets say the GTX 670M only pull 100.

While looking over the specs for my GTX 260m on the nvidia site it says that it supports directx 10. But when I ran dxdiag it says that i'm on DX11.
