Jun 2, 2012 · A GTX 260 would outperform it in many games (but not all) judging by this (GTX 550Ti ~ GTS 450), but the GTX 260 is architecturally COMPLETELY different, the GTS 450 and GTX 550Ti both being Fermi, DX11, while the GTX 260 is GT200 architecture. Still a good card, but not a good choice for a new build.
