The 1650 lacks DLSS support, which is crucial for making raytracing practical on lower-end cards (though I think those graphs are DLSS 1.0). If you want to try to get a better idea of how raytracing performs in this sort of "software compatibility mode", look around for coverage when raytracing support was added to Pascal.

Apr 26, 2023 · Performance-wise, the RTX 3050 performs similarly to a GTX 1080, while the GTX 1650 performs slightly worse than a GTX 1060. So, if your computer can power it, the RTX 3050 would be worth saving for. This is assuming those 2 cards are your only options, though.

Jan 22, 2021 · I bought a GTX 1650 cuz it's basically the only graphics card that will fit my tiny pc. Turns out i ordered the GTX 1650 StormX GDDR6 and not the GDDR5. The differens between the two is that the GDDR6 requiers a 6 pin cable, but my powersupply doesn't have one. Is it possible to use the GDDR6 without the powercable or am i screwed?
