Apr 18, 2021 · GTS 2 and GTR 2 does have basic color emoji support. Only the old emojis, anything new doesn’t work. There was a hack for the GTR 1 and GTS 1 only to add black and white emojis. This hack is not for the the 2nd gen of GTR and GTS. I have not seen a hack for GTR 2 and GTS2, is there one ? More details and pics of the emojis in my review :

Jul 17, 2022 · Emoji don't appear, only black squares replacing them, neither do images. It's funny that, on Android, you can even reply with Emojis, but can't see them in the notifications texts 🤷🏻

Sep 6, 2022 · For anyone using the newer models (GTS/GTR 3 or 4), are emojis 100% supported (ie. Does every emoji show up properly?) I have the GTS 2 Mini and to this day I get unsupported emojis from notifications and texts show up as strange characters.

Oct 25, 2022 · I'm considering an upgrade to either 3 or 4, since I'm already using an outdated original GTR 47mm. My main concern is how is the text displayed, primarily on notifications. Are special characters like smileys and non standard English letters displayed correctly or they are still shown as boxes and question marks?

Mar 27, 2023 · It's not really a GTR 4 Mini, they named it GTR Mini because it doesn't have all of the same sensors and abilities as the bigger models. What features it does have work really well. The interface is overall quick and responsive. It only lags when replying to a message and scrolling through the emoji list. The bezel is highly polished and shiny.

Sep 5, 2020 · I had to install Italian language on the watch so it shows these letters. I also have to do this everytime I update the watch. If the watch wasn't distributed on local market I wouldn't say a word, but this, together with no emoji support is just a big fail and non care from Amazfit (or Zepp nowadays)
