Sep 25, 2023 · 2007 VW GTI - Sold with 190,000km full stage 2 hpfp file, drove the absolute piss out of it every day. and now 2016 VW GTI - 105,000km so far. Never had any major problems what so ever, and haven't really heard of any major issues.

Dec 9, 2022 · 2016 GTI w/ 70k miles. A problem I’ve been dealing with is that my car is hard to start or won’t turn over. In the mornings it turns on no problem, getting off work the car starts with no issues.

Mar 16, 2023 · Honestly not a terrible price, better than what I paid a year or so ago for my 19 SE. I don't recall if the experience package also includes the fender audio system, which is pretty solid (though a touch lacking in bass - easy fix) but it surely includes the vaq eLSD which feels like a box of magic in the canyons and the DCC suspension which has a very noticeable range from comfort to sport.

Aug 8, 2023 · I have a stage 1 034 E85 tune on my car, low torque because my TCU isn't unlocked yet, and it's good for 330 whp and 330 w/tq on a basically stock engine (intercooler is recommended). The E85 stage 2 downpipe tune should make 380-400 wheel hp.

Jul 20, 2023 · I have a GTI w the lighting package and my u-shaped daytime running light is out. Is it true that I will have to replace the entire headlight unit? Only one of them is out, the other one works. Does that mean it may be a DRL module?

May 27, 2022 · Hi. The red stripe on my mkv gti front grill appears to be fading or peeling. I'm thinking it may be clearcoat peel but not sure. I would appreciate any input on how to deal with the peeling / fading. I was thinking of maybe using a scotchbrite pad to at least smooth out or remove the layer that is peeling. Thanks for the input!~

Sep 13, 2023 · MK7 GTI w/ tune and intake failing smog (California) I have the stage 1 low APR tune on my 2015 MK7 GTI as well as the APR cold air intake. The tune is rated by CARB, so shouldn’t be the issue.

Jul 28, 2022 · 2019 GTI Rabbit DSG with JB4 installed. Going to remove it for the ECM recall I have been procrastinating. Do people leave their AFR tap in and just remove the wire? Or is there a role for removing everything and re-tapping the wire when I reinstall. Thx

Mar 18, 2016 · I'm buying my first car soon. I'm having some trouble deciding between a BRZ or a GTI w/ performance pack. I test drove both of them. I like both a lot. The Subaru was a lot more fun/engaging. I like the body style and ride height compared to the GTI VW's interior is so much better. The ride is more smooth and comfortable.
