Feb 22, 2023 · I remember when the Spider-Man PS4 game came out a lot of people were talking about how accurate they depicted manhattan. Haven’t played GTA 4 in a while so I’m curious to know for those that live in NYC how well they represented the different boroughs and overall city.

Mar 2, 2024 · I, as most other gamers, never doubted that 3D Era's Liberty City is based on New York City. But it is not the case. I will explain. Both GTA I and HD Universe versions of LC are indeed based off NYC. GTA III LC is a mix of New York City, Chicago, and a bit of Los Angeles (the tower at the airport).
