Dec 8, 2003 · If you plan on making it a really fast car buy the GSR engine because it's relatively turbo-friendly. The Type R's are meant to be built all-motor, and CAN see like 300hp with a ton of money, but 230-250hp with average Joe's paycheck is all to be seen if lucky.

Better in almost every way. im buying the whole car. do the cars hold different maximum boost levels or something. ex. the 2001 eclipse rs holds more boost than the gt. and im looking for a car with more room to work with, like body kits, turbos, pistons, cams, etc.

Aug 15, 2003 · GSR Head on LS block Integra Car Forums . when you do that convertion its called ls/v-tech you gain alot more horse and can hold the gears alot longer. you'll be just about a full second faster. but its pretty expensive if you want the gsr head you would half to by the hole thing and then your lookin at about $2800 if you want the ls bottom end, its like $900 to $1200.

Nov 10, 2003 · An LS block has more torque than a GSR block ( you can really leave them from a dead stop), but a GSR has more hp thanks to its head (will get you in the long run). Mar 31, 2005 · 0-70 Jrsc Gsr Street Racing Car Forums . that video seems to show that your 10mph -60mph roll on time is about the same as mine. pretty quick for only 6 psi untuned. but JRSC don't need to be tuned no? they come with a rising rate fuel pressure regulator and some other little chip that throws timing back for you. or did htey add something new for hte newer kits?

Feb 11, 2004 · as far as what it takes to beat a GSR integra with a civic hatch or CRX, not much. when i was at KCIR drag strip, i saw a bone stock GSR integra consistantly runing 15.5. a sohc vtec with bolt ons in a light enough car could probably beat a stock GSR.

Sep 8, 2005 · GSR I'm assuming your talking about the engine is the B18C1. It's a 1.8 liter vtec(4 valves per cylinder with variable valve timing) motor. They are around 3200-3800 for a complete swap and have a power output of about 180HP and 130ft/lbs of torque. If you mean the car, it is an Integra with that engine. I think that should help.
