Each frame is divided into three sub-frames of varying length being required multiple frames to broadcast a complete data message set to users. Subframe 1 (9 bits) provides Time of Internal. Subframe 2 (600 bits) provides clock and ephemeris data.

L2C, L5 and L1C are modernized signals and are only broadcast by newer satellites (or not yet at all). Furthermore, as of January 2021, none of these three signals are yet considered to be fully operational for civilian use.
GPS Signal Plan - Navipedia - European Space Agency
Three signals are transmitted at the moment by GPS in L1: C/A Code, P (Y) Code,M-Code and the new L1C signal, which is in the process of being fielded as L2C and L5. The legacy civil signal, called L1 C/A or C/A at L1, will continue broadcasting in the future.
This webinar provides information on GPS L1C/A signal structure, signal generation and its properties like power spectrum, signal power. A software generated signal will be used for demonstration to show its properties like modulation,
Telemetry Decoder - GNSS-SDR
Sub-frame 5: contains data from the almanac and the constellation status. A total of 25 frames are needed to complete the almanac. Sub-frames 1, 2, and 3 are transmitted with each frame (i.e., they are repeated every 30 seconds). Sub-frames 4 and 5 contain different pages (25 pages each) of the navigation message. Thence, the transmission of ...

GPS satellites' health is affected by a wide variety of breakdowns, particularly clock trouble. That is one reason they carry multiple clocks. The almanac in sub frames four and five tell the receiver where to find the satellites. The little truncated ephemerides in the almanac help it do that.
GPS signals (L1, L2, L5) - Geoconnect
The navigation message itself is constructed from a 1,500 bit frame, which is divided into five subframes of 300 bits each and transmitted at 50 bit/s (therefore each subframe requires 6 seconds to transmit). Subframe 1 contains the GPS date and time, plus satellite status and health.
GPS is executing a modernization program to provide civil L5 signal. The spreading code on L5 signal has a ten times higher chipping rate than L1 C/A code.

Here are some of the parameters of its design. The entire Navigation message, the Master Frame, contains 25 frames. Each frame is 1500 bits long and is divided into five subframes. Each subframe contains 10 words, and each word is comprised of 30 bits.

Jul 1, 2010 · The L5 signal of the new Block IIF satellite shows a very favorable signal strength (Fig. 1), which is somewhere in between the L1 and L2C signal strength for the employed antenna and slightly higher than that of the GIOVE-A/B satellites.
