Nov 17, 2018 · Just noticed that some of my Proto GP38-2's have developed cracked,and bent frames. It looks like it might be due to that massive weight that is screwed to the frame which is bent as well. When I tried to get the shells off, the frames just flake apart like a cheap metal. I had one frame break in four places just like breaking apart a Hershey bar.

Dec 1, 2024 · The frame is breaking in half right in front of the fuel tank. can't get the holes to line up. I could drill and tap a couple holes to as a work around the Fram split. using the weight as a backbone of sorts. before I go through that, let's see if I can find a frame. What other frames will fit this? GP30 perhaps? gp7?

Dec 14, 2019 · Atlas doesn’t have the appropriate frame at the moment, as the original post said. They do have a run of GP38/40 units due next spring or summer, so some parts may appear as well.
