The car is normally used in combination with the GNU system: the whole system is basically GNU with a car added, or GNU/Car. All the so-called car models are really versions of GNU/Linux!

Specifically, I am looking for something that's got nice graphics, is small enough (>10GBs, assuming the graphics are worth the size), and is preferably native instead of running from Wine. If it's open source, it would be even better, so I can compile it myself. But I don't really care.

Jan 9, 2023 · I'm interesting in replacing my stock CD/radio head unit with a computer that will run GNU/Linux. There seems to be a fair amount of activity in Linux-based car/ICE software but I'm having trouble finding hardware. So far I've found the following: E3iO PCs - these are full-on Intel x86 PCs. Huge and extremely expensive.
