Mar 1, 2022 · I was thinking that 3/4" ply would be adequate for the rails (two pieced laminated for a total on 1.5" each rail). I'll attach my highly complex CAD plans. Green is the plywood tub, red is steel reinforcements. If similar dimensions (in oak perhaps) can support a racing V8 with two people, then I think this should be fine for a cyclekart?
