I have a 2007 GMC Envoy, last night driving on the highway 60-65mph it just shut down. Luckily I was in the right lane and just coasted over. All lights came on, put it into park and tried to start it up, after a couple of tries it started and stall right away, a couple of seconds later tried again and it started and I drove off to the next exit.

I have had a similar problem with my 2006 GMC Envoy. Vehicle turns over for about 5 or 6 seconds after filling the tank and the fuel gauge jumps around for a while - then returns to normal after about an hour or so. I called GMC and there is a special coverage which will pay 50% of the total costs for parts and labor.

Have a 2005 GMC Envoy.My speedometer is stuck above 120. Check engine light stays on. I am having a problem with the vehicle accelerating on it's own. sometimes it is sluggish and starts jerking while I'm driving other times I can be stopeed with my foot on the brake and it starts accelerating on it's own. Well here's another issue with the 2005 Envoy by GMC, Problem 1: gas gage reads empty then moves to full, then back to empty indicator light constantly moves to various levels of fuel. Fuel tank is actually full yet constantly displays empty resulting in refueling vehicle whichs upsets family also a confusing problem and annoying.
