May 11, 2013 · I bought the gi model 3 a few weeks ago shot my first 50gi reloads today. Dillon doesn't make a powder funnel for this caliber and it took a few weeks to find a custom machined funnel. All cycled fine and the gun is a great shooter.

Aug 26, 2017 · Yes, the GI model is a good, basic, bare bones 1911 pistol. If you are young with good eyes, the sights will be a none issue for you. I own a GI Hi Cap model, and as I get older, well over the hill, I had to upgrade the sights to the factory Mil Spec sights.
