Aug 18, 2013 · With your old GF1 you will find that the extra speed really helps. On my E-P1 I find the 14mm unremarkable and the 20mm still amazes me all the time. The 14mm is still a perfectly acceptable lens, just doesn't wow me. I use the 14mm for casual video the most. It's wide FOV and quick focusing make it more suited to general video.

Feb 17, 2011 · Being such a wide angle at 14mm, this lens offers depth of field with almost everything in focus. Get close and you will get some background blur though you will also get distortions, especially if going for a portrait.
