Jul 26, 2023 · I wanted to do mlp for the color wheel when it got popular but couldn't figure out who the 8th character should be since Starlight didn't fit red at all. Anyway as much as I don't really like G5 style that much, these are some pretty faithful depictions and Twilight turned out so much better than what they gave us.

May 29, 2023 · What this style does right is silhouettes. You can differentiate characters easily even without mane shape, which was impossible with G4 design because they all used the same template. What looks weird are faces, sometimes they are too human-like that it’s falling into uncanny valley territory.
