Nov 30, 2023 · Hey all, I am in the process of transitioning from G45/G19/G26 Gen5 to G48/G43X using Shield 15rd mags for EDC and I have questions about ammo. I currently carry Underwood 147gr +P+ but feel that may be a poor choice for the 48/43X after reading posts of people having problems with 147gr feeding in these guns, not to mention the power factor.

I've narrowed it down to the Holosun either the 407k x2 or the 507k x2, the Swampfox Sentinal, or the Shield RMSc.

Feb 16, 2023 · The Holosun EPS 6 MOS is sold out everywhere I looked. Found a 2 MOS on Optics Planet but really prefer the larger dot myself. A good friend and manager at my local gun club has a G48 that he had a Holosun 507k on in very good shape that he sold me along with a C&H mounting plate installed and Ameriglo i dot night sights for cowitnessing installed.

Feb 10, 2021 · My G19 holster has a deeper claw that pulls the grip in closer to my gut, so adding one to the G48 holster makes it ever-so-slightly more concealable. But, I prefer the G48 for the weight and the slimness of the grip, it just fits my hand better, and the difference in recoil isn't enough to change my effectiveness in shooting it.

Mar 13, 2019 · My G48 came with AmeriGlo Bold sights. This is the first time I bought a Glock with them already installed and I really like them so far. I put a set of TFX Pro sights on my G43 and I like them better than the Trijicon HD sights I’ve been using for years on all my other pistols. Anything is an improvement on the factory plastic sights.

Jan 23, 2020 · I carried a G26/G33 for 12 years IWB at 3:30-4:00. I picked up a G48 in October and that is all I carry any more. I switched to appendix carry when I picked up the G48 and never looked back. The G26/G33 are put away in the storage safe now. Climate here is South Texas. Just my opinion.

Apr 18, 2023 · Well, this news sux. My G48 is a carry gun. I won’t install an aftermarket trigger on my carry guns, my G45 or G48. Also, I was considering a G42 or 43 for a summer shorts carry gun. I was hoping to install the new Performance trigger in the 48 and possibly the new 42 or 43. Perhaps my new pocket pistol won’t be a Glock, just for spite.
