Dec 5, 2020 · I traded in a G26 gen 4 for a gen 5. When I bought the g4, it was still the latest generation of the 26, but I wanted the no finger grooves, the marksman barrel and the captured trigger spring of the gen 5.

Feb 24, 2012 · First handgun - G26 Gen4. Owned for 2 months. Shot about 600 rounds of Federal Champion 115 FMJ over 5 occasions. On every occasion I've had over 2%+ failure to eject. All have been "stove pipe". Very easy to clear. First failure was on first magazine. Failure rate and occurance is consistant at 2%+ on every outing.

Jan 29, 2018 · The G26 Gen5 mags do not have the extended floor plate - they are the same as previous Gen mags. OP - The finger groove on the Gen4 G26 aligns with the G17, so if you are happy with the grooves on other Glocks you'll be happy with the Gen4 26. I really like the Pearce +2 on my 26 as it fits well with the finger groove spacing.

Oct 27, 2014 · I carry a G26 gen4 and was a the range the other day, got to talk to a couple next to me and I offer the wife to shoot my G26. They used their ammo (WWB) and she made my G26 malfunction just like you describe (same malfunctions), I notice that ger grip was not very good so I try to help but continue to experience malfunctions.

Feb 26, 2016 · I got a Gen4 G26 complete upper from a friend. Went looking for a frame and could only find a Gen3 frame so I bought it. Did some reading online and people say it works. Just left the range and it does fit and function OK. Slide moves freely with no apparent binding. I had several FTF (feed) over the course of 200 rounds. Pretty much one every mag.

Mar 30, 2021 · There are times Where I don't particularly care to carry appendix, however, so I was thinking of getting another Gen3 or Gen4 G26 (which made me curious as to what others are thinking now that the Gen5's have been out a few years). The SIG P365, by the way, is just too small in the grip and I just don't like SIG striker-fired pistols much.
