Haplogroup G-FGC477, also known as Haplogroup G-M201 (Y Chromosome Consortium long-form label), is a genealogical group of lineages defined by unique genetic markers present on the Y-chromosome.

These are maps of modern distribution of haplogroup G-M201 and its main subclades, using natural neighbour interpolation. Originally found widespread among ancient Neolithic groups expanding into Europe and the Middle East, it is today particularly prevalent in the Caucasus.

One of the main sub-branches of haplogroup G-M201, G2a, was the predominant male lineage in early European farmers, although the important Y-chromosome turnover in the Bronze Age nearly completed replaced it with the R1b lineage 52,53.
