Fuman County (Persian: شهرستان فومن) is in Gilan province, in northwestern Iran. Its capital is the city of Fuman. [3] After the 2011 National Census, two villages merged to form the new city of Maklavan. [4] At the time of the 2006 census, the county's population was 96,788 in 25,978 households. [5] .
