Jun 19, 2015 · I have been wanting the graphite silver X-T1 for a long time. Now that I am ready to pull the trigger, I find myself wondering if its worth the extra dollars. Besides looking a lot nicer/ sexy, is there any other benefit to going with the silver? Overtime, will the coating deteriorate less and and maybe perhaps not strip as easily as it might on the black? Really appreciate the help.

As a comparative data point, the difference between writing a RAW+3:2 large fine to EVO versus a class 10 on my X-A1 is the write LED flashes 5 times instead of 6.

Mar 13, 2016 · The default X-T1 setting is for the front dial to control the shutter and the rear dial to control aperture. You can flip this in the setup menu under the button/dial setting. I flipped my X-T1 to match my D800. Front dial controls aperture; rear dial controls shutter speed. Admittedly on my Fuji I always control aperture by the lens ring.

Jul 25, 2020 · The Fujifilm X-T1 was the first camera for which Fujifilm implemented EXIF-based actuation recording. However, the internal software does not seem to have been mature at launch, so that, for example, firmware updates have been disrupting the counter. As a result, the image count information contained in EXIF metadata is not reliable for the X-T1.

Apr 28, 2014 · The Fuji implementation of back button focus is somewhat strange. Maybe use the LCD screen to compose, tilted at a convenient angle. This will stop your face disappearing from your son's gaze. This is a facility I never had before my X-T1, and I find it very useful in some circumstances (although I much prefer the EVF normally).
