This means that you’ll have higher stats on the front bar, and should maximize your time there. Back Bar is typically reserved for longer DoTs and buffs, while front bar gets loaded with instant and hard-hitting abilities.

People talk about "front bar" and "back bar" because they are labeled "1" and "2". Really what they mean is "Damage bar, support bar" or "healing bar, tank bar" or "Dot bar, buff bar" etc. Whether you put spells on the front or back, or bar 1 or 2 doesn't matter.

So the question is do you want the occasional Whorl damage or the boost in crit damage you can get by hitting 3 magic skills that you are using anyway.

Other sets like this are essence thief, clever alchemist, rallying cry, among others. Then front bar something like burning spellweave or deadlands or whatever to do damage.

If you always bar swap right after vigoring up on your back bar, then the set may work better for you on the front bar. In my experience, though, you just want to have a HOT running and it triggers well enough on either bar.

Ran with only one pet (Volatile Familiar), put Carve, Bound Armaments, Crystal Weapon, and Reverse Slice/Executioner on the front bar, ran VMA 2H on the back with Stampede, Hurricane, Barbed Trap, and Resolving Vigor. Dawnbreaker/Greater Storm Atro for ultimates.

Front bar for templars and/or Soul Assault builds - I'm checking out Oblivion's Foe + Cyrodiil's Light right now (although not convinced).

Feb 27, 2019 · for a while, on one of my characters my bar 2 was actualy my front bar (as in the bar I spend more time on) honestly its all it is, front bar is the bar you spend more time with, back bar tends to be supplementary bar, where the buffs, etc live. edited, and of course the post right above me says essentially the same thing already :P so yeah ...
