I noticed that my local Petsmart has started to carry Friskies Urinary Health canned food. My cats personal junk food is Friskies canned food and I buy it for them once in a while to keep their lives interesting.

Mar 23, 2012 · Friskies wet is actually one of my regular rotation canned foods because it's well accepted by the cats, readily available, and quite affordable. Friskies and Fancy Feast are two wet food brands that are actually relatively good and budget-friendly and quite a few other members feed it to their cats too.

Jul 12, 2007 · IMO Friskies is passable - by no means a "good" food but not the worst out there. What my friends who have 20-30 cats in their houses plus 30-50 alley cats that they feed do is feed a higher quality dry food (a combination of Nutro and Costco) plus Friskies wet.

Mar 5, 2014 · As far as the original question, I prefer Cat Chow to Friskies because Cat Chow has a meat ingredient listed first and also because Friskies has PURPLE kibbles for petes's sake :tongue2:. Nov 26, 2017 · Canned food usually has a use by date a year or so in the future so you could just stock up on Friskies now to feed when your kitten is older. Friskies is a decent affordable brand to feed and a few varieties are availale in a large 12 or 13 oz can size.

Apr 20, 2013 · Avoid fish flavored food; the smell can become addictive and because of the fish used, can lead to UTIs. Nature's Variety (wet) is a pretty good food, especially the grain free version. Interestingly, I feed a feral/stray cat colony, and they are not preferring Friskies pate to Friskies gravy--they know what is best for them!

Friskies has been around for a long time, I feed both pate and shredded to my cats along with dry food left out and have had no problems at all. I have one cat that prefers pate, one shredded, and one that only accepts the 'pouches' (16 years old) and licks up the gravy.
