Franklin Hall is home to the School of Emerging Media and Technology and the School of Media and Journalism within the College of Communication and Information. The building was completely renovated in 2007 and has continued to evolve over the last 15 years.

Ken and his wife, Audrey, recently made a gift to The Media School to support the installation of the new television studio in Franklin Hall. The Ken and Audrey Beckley Studio serves as a facility for broadcast production classes and workshops, as well as the student-run station IUSTV.

The Ken and Audrey Beckley Studio gives students the chance to gain hands-on broadcast and production experience. The studio is also home to IUSTV, the campus’s student-run television station.

Video production studios in the Radio-Television Building (Studio 5) and Franklin Hall (Ken and Audrey Beckley Studio) are available for rent, and technical production services are available for hire.

Aug 17, 2021 · Kenneth Franklin Hall (1943-2019) I recently learned that Ken, my classmate and friend, passed away and is buried in Trona. Ken and I spent a lot of time together when we were growing up. He died April 6, 2019 in Birmingham, Alabama.
