Ford said for us to go ahead on vacation and if we have issues again go to the nearest dealer. 65,0000.00 on new truck and 4 days in are already having issues. I will say Sante Fe Ford took us right in and did all they could do to help us. Would really appreciate any suggestions.

Aug 3, 2015 · I bought 2 containers of the blu def and then refill them at the pumps for $2.29 a gallon. although this probably isn't your problem, I'd spend the $7 and get the Ford DEF nozzle.. it prevents overflow and overfilling the tank. Works fantastic compared to the nozzle that you get with the blu def containers. It fits right on the blu def containers.

Dec 15, 2010 · Regarding the DEF freezing, the freezing temp is 12 degrees F. When it reaches that temp and below, the DEF does not freeze solid. It just gets kinda slushy. The Ford truck has DEF heating provided for the tank and the lines. The computer controlled DEF system is programmed to not ever call for a DEF injection event when the engine is cold.

I am working on a 2012 f250, the truck will randomly have a p207f code and go into idle mode for poor reductant quality. I have changed the def fluid, fixed a exhaust leak at the flange by the nox sensor and replace the nox sensor and checked all the wiring to the def tank and injector.
