The Fokker 50 is a turboprop-powered airliner manufactured and supported by Dutch aircraft manufacturer Fokker. It was designed as an improved version of the successful Fokker F27 Friendship. The Fokker 60 is a stretched freighter version of the Fokker 50.

The four Fokker 60s built were stretched versions of the Fokker 50 with a large cargo door at the front right of the fuselage. The Fokker 60 made its first flight on November 2, 1995. All four machines went to the Royal Netherlands Air Force and were equipped for transport and personnel/paratrooper transport.
