It seems there is brand name, full price ($200-$300 per canister) Fluticasone, then there is Flovent HFA (Fluticasone Propionate) which is much cheaper ($47-$66.39) for a 110mg dose. Is there a real notable difference in effectiveness between full price Fluticasone and Flovent HFA?

Because I think his breathing is getting even worse, I looked up other treatments online and found a site that said using a bronchodilator (such as Albuterol) on a daily basis can actually be damaging to the lungs.

The Flovent inhaler has directions with it, but are meant for a human. For example, it says to rinse your mouth with water and spit it out after using the inhaler. How do you do this with a cat?

We took her to the vet last week and decided to start some prednisone to hopefully decrease any inflammation, and have increased from one puff of flovent to two puffs twice a day. So now she is currently getting prednisone 2x a day, flovent 2x a day and lantus 2x a day.
