Apr 23, 2020 · Hi mate the bike came with the flip chip in low on mine not sure it it’s standard like that or not but I put mine in high straight out of the box I ain’t suffered many strikes at all an I love the way my bike rides it feels super planted at fast speed an slow stuff I ant had any issues it manoeuvres great. the low setting don’t even cross my mind tbh.

Mar 12, 2021 · The flip chip is quick and easy to change so probably best to leave it as is and try that, then flip it and see which you prefer! I find the Levo a little top heavy so raising the bb is not a positive. I dont know if that is the same with the SL though. I converted my Levo Comp ( not SL) from 150 to 160.

Jan 5, 2021 · Levo 2020 with 160 mm travel lyric ultimate fork and just flipped the flip chip to the high position from the OEM low to lessen pedal strikes, which it has done nicely. Immediately noticed quicker turning in general, similar to the OEM 150 mm travel fork that the bike came with, which has turned out to be a real benefit in our technical terrain.

They always had relatively steep seat angles, and so does Vala at just over 77*, depending on the flip-chip position. There is a chip that will move the bottom shock attachment slightly, taking the head angle down from 64.2 to 63.9*. The seat angle too is only adjusted by 0.3*.
