May 24, 2020 · The roof has an eternabond strip running down the middle and also two eternabond strips going across the front cap and end cap. I also wanted to re-seal the shower skylight and pretty much everything else up there. Basically, a one and done. I bought a gallon can of Flex Seal in white and decided to try it out. I was very impressed.

Sep 28, 2023 · I have had 2 RV's that I had the flex armor sprayed on, the 1st on was my 06 Knight. That was a quite a few years ago and the cost at that time was 3400.00, had it done in green cove springs FL. The company that started this I have been told originally had rhino Lino sprayed on his RV roof, but it cracked. Not sure about the story.

Oct 24, 2024 · The roof membrane on the FWS was recently replaced in Nappanee. The replacement material is DiflexII (textured) and was sealed with roofing tape instead of caulking. Unfortunately, the tape began peeling & sticking to the bulb seal. Newmar says that they use roofing tape to seal all slide roofs now instead of caulking.

Dec 23, 2014 · I would be cautious using bleach it could or will cause streaks on the side walls. If it is a rubber roof use Dicor self leveling roof sealant for additional sealing when necessary. Some people use 303 Protectant on the roof after washing. Others use Dicor roof treatment. Both are good. Go to Dicor's website to see their roof care procedures.

Oct 11, 2019 · I have not used the Flex Seal on the roof as of yet, but I have used it to repair the floor of my slide out. Well actually I used it to coat it after I replaced the floor. It was a three-quarter inch piece of plywood that had rotted at the wall. I thought it was coming from the window but it wasn't oh, it was actually the seal under the floor.

Apr 19, 2020 · Typical Flex Seal hype, but this time in a paste (looks like a putty). He even said it was perfect "for stopping leaks in RVs and campers." Also this time, instead of taping (sealing) a boat together, he made (or at least claims to have made) a complete boat out of the paste.
