Oct 2, 2012 · I am in the process of scratch building a puppeteer from a Flair plan and am just about to start on the undercarriage. Please could someone say at what angle to the vertical the undercarriage legs are when viewed from the front? The Sopwith pup legs were at about 20 degrees, but the Flair pup looks closer to 45 on the pictures people have posted.

A Flair Pup in fair condition, just not the prettiest paint job! The cowl is uncut other than for a remote glow and remote fuel fill. The exhaust is on a 90 degree bend and is completely enclosed. Covered in Solartex and painted (badly) using WBC colours paint. The ASP is very low run time and turns over freely.

Oct 28, 2008 · The Pup is a great flyer, set the COG @ 130mm back "slightly down". I seriously doubt that the errors you mention are material and I would not touch the factory set Stab angle until I had tried the correct COG (the instructions are very clear on how important this is).
