Phyllotaxis - Wikipedia
In botany, phyllotaxis (from Ancient Greek φύλλον (phúllon) 'leaf' and τάξις (táxis) 'arrangement') [1] or phyllotaxy is the arrangement of leaves on a plant stem. Phyllotactic spirals form a distinctive class of patterns in nature. The basic arrangements of leaves on a stem are opposite and alternate (also known as spiral).
Filotaxia o Filotaxis
Son aquellas hojas que están dispuestas espacialmente sobre un eje (rama) en un solo plano y formando dos filas verticales; en las cuales las hojas pueden disponerse en forma alterna u opuesta.

Phyllotaxis, the regular arrangement of leaves or flowers around a plant stem, is an example of developmental pattern formation and organogenesis. Phyllotaxis is characterized by the divergence angles between the organs, the most common angle being 137.5°, the golden angle.
Phyllotaxis: from classical knowledge to molecular genetics
Feb 7, 2021 · Phyllotaxis (phyllotaxy) is the arrangement of repeated plant organs. The word “phyllotaxis” itself was coined by Carl Friedrich Schimper (1830), a botanist and naturalist from Mannheim, Germany. It is a combination of two Greek …
The unified rule of phyllotaxis explaining both spiral and non …
Feb 27, 2019 · Here we propose a unified rule of phyllotaxis to explain both types of arrangement: the developed leaves form vertical rows along the stem. In the non-spiral arrangement, nascent to developed leaves always follow this rule, so that the number of leaf rows is kept constant irrespective of stem growth.
