Dec 10, 2024 · A couple days ago it wouldn't drive when I turned the key, saying something about the 12V battery. I unplugged the charger then plugged it back in and called it a night. In the morning it seemed to start up properly but it's got the Service Electric Vehicle System light on so I haven't risked driving it anywhere yet.

Nov 25, 2022 · I think you'd find Fiat don't have contracted companies. They just arrange any old local breakdown team to visit you. When my La Prima wouldn't start, a breakdown mechanic arranged by Fiat Customer Care arrived and his first remark was "Oh it's Electric!" All he could do was a few basics which confirmed car needed to be recovered.

May 19, 2022 · It seems like it could be another issue, maybe electrical. BTW my local Fiat dealership charges a min $450 diagnostics fee to look at the car 😫. Luckily I have a repair shop close to me that only services electric and hybrid cars, but I'm not as comfortable to take it there. Neither offer house call service. Any advice would be appreciated.

Jul 6, 2022 · My 2013 lately has a loud hum coming from the electric motor, the loudness increases with speed and at 40 to 50 miles is the loudest. It almost sounds like a broken tailpipe but of course it doesn't have an exhaust. I took it to my mechanic and he has the hum comes from the electric motor, he checked the wheel bearings and they seem quiet.
