Oct 9, 2022 · If you like to wrench on your own cars, the 3.2 version of the Mondial will be much more user friendly. For instance, you can do belts in the car instead of dropping the engine, which is required on the T. Parts are generally not a problem, unless its some obscure trim piece that may have only been used for a year or two.

May 6, 2018 · Mondial T: belt service is an engine out procedure, thus much costlier than with the Mondial QV,8 and 3.2 (belts on the side). One of the more important issues you may experience with the Mondial T is leaking fuel tanks because of oxydation of the aluminium. When inspecting a Mondial, always smell under the car for fuel!

Dec 26, 2012 · Hi and welcome to the Mondial family. Don't be too disillusioned from the problems because when you get it going it's an incredible experience! I too have an 87 3.2 Mondial and experienced some running problems when I first bought it, mainly due to lack of use and storage over many years. Initially it ran very rough and kept backfiring.
