Aug 22, 2022 · The steering rack of my 308 (with 60k miles) is showing some signs of looseness, and a rack rebuild would seem to be on my horizon. Appears to be a pretty common problem at this age / mileage, based upon a deep Search here, right? Doing some preliminary research, I see that Superformance UK sells complete rebuilt racks for under 400 pounds.

Mar 7, 2014 · Here is some info for the 308 rack that I searched before. Does anyone know if there is a rebuild kit for the 328 rack? Also, is there an "exploded view" drawing of the rack. My concern was the rubber bits found; this is leading me to a rebuild. I do know that I need to replace rack mount bushings anyway, so rack removal is in order.

Jan 16, 2018 · I used a few times a vintage (1960's Swedish Thule) ski rack on my S1 E-type 2+2 and I was thinking of using a magnetic one on the 456 GT but a bit worried about paint scuffs. Yes, that suction cup version should also work well on a 456 GT, the trunk slopes even better than the 575 shown in the photo.
