Nov 22, 2024 · If I import an animation FBX containing morph target animation, it will split it into 2 sequence files. This should be a toggle-able option, and it should not do this by default. When importing an FBX with a skeletal mesh and at least 1 animation, the skeletal mesh’s bind pose will become the first frame of the animation.

FAB Asset Packs only have 1 static mesh with all 200 meshes
Dec 7, 2024 · Hello, I’m just starting to wrap my head around the new FAB, Most packs I download that are “Asset Packs” with multiple meshes only have 1 FBX file and 1 static mesh with all the meshes in the pack in there. When I make my own assets in Blender I export everything to their own FBX as I don’t know of a way to separate objects in a static mesh once they are inside UE5. Am I missing a ...

Maybe in another Words: In the world outliner there should be seen all single objects inside the fbx, but in the content folder there should be just 1 file.

Aug 5, 2015 · When importing a mesh and viewing the import settings, there is an option within the ‘Miscellaneous’ section at the bottom labeled, ‘Override Full Name’. If enabled and the FBX file only contains one mesh, the name specified in the import path field will be used as the full name for the imported. Uncheck this option as it is on by default.
