Jul 31, 2017 · As blunt as this post is, it's not wrong. Your Fauns are basically Wood Elves with better jumps and more proficiencies, and that's before even taking a subrace. Forest Fauns especially get 3 great perks alongside everything else. A lot of descriptions are also incredibly vague or ill-worded, such as a Plains Faun's 'herd tactics'.

Yep, it's official in the 5e PHB. I'm surprised halflings can live for so long. I always figured they're dead by 40 because they're small and non-magical like gnomes. While I never thought they'd be dead by forty, I never did like them having a longer lifespan than humans.

Faun's communal last names are names an entire Faun clan shares, something to identify them as part of that group. Get a bonus to ability scores of your choice, so can get a good CHA; have a ramming ability so you always have a weapon (better for early game but still); can jump further; advantage on saves against magic; and innate proficiency in Persuasion, Performance, and 1 musical instrument, all typical bard stuff.

Nov 5, 2022 · This picture is from the official Theros sourcebook for 5e, and if that's not a female centaur, I don't know what is. In classical Greek mythology, of course, you're correct; satyrs were exclusively male, and their closest female counterparts were nymphs, so it's not that you're wrong.
