The official website of Father Duenas Memorial School, a Catholic college preparatory high school for boys on Guam.

It was named after Father Jesus Baza Dueñas, a Chamorro priest who was beheaded by Japanese forces during World War II. The school began as a seminary to teach young men to become priests; it became a university preparatory school.

Accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and Western Catholic Education Association (WCEA), Father Dueñas Memorial School is a private, Catholic college preparatory high school for boys that was founded in 1948 as a minor seminary.

Father Dueñas knew much about the movements of the six American servicemen who had escaped capture during the December 10, 1941 Japanese ground invasion, and about those who helped and harbored them.

Father Jesus Baza Duenas (1911 – 1944) was the second CHamoru to be ordained a priest. He led the Catholic Church during the Japanese occupation of Guam during World War II and was later killed by the Japanese in July of 1944.
