Faldorn's biggest weakness is the same biggest weakness of some otherwise decent NPCs: Coran, Eldoth and especially Yeslick. She's in an awkward spot of the game when your party is probably finalized already.

FALDORN'S HUT This hut is the center of the Druid Grove. It is also where you have to come if you are doing the Animal Attacks in Trademeet quest. It has been taken over by an evil Shadow Druid named Faldorn whom you must defeat to solve Trademeet's problems. Faldorn has always intrigued me, and I've decided that I really want to bring her along with me on my next playthrough after this one.

The result was that Faldorn finally died with Cernd having only 8 hit points left, a close but well fought battle against a stronger foe. I quickly healed Cernd afterwards, and the Druid council is now under a makeshift command, but much improved conditions are had by all.

Each party member receives 18,500 XP. The spirit also tells you to tend to your duties beyond the grove, but that you shouldn't let too many weeks pass before you return to sleep there again. The Possessed Child 10 days after the completion of the first quest, go back to the Druid Grove and sleep inside Faldorn's hut again.

I'm ready to announce that my new mod - Faldorn for BG2EE. Yes, the Shadow Druid and a Mother's Fury is now an alternative for calm Cernd.

I'll agree on Faldorn. Pure druids are great in BG1, and her wisdom is plenty. Her special summon is also helpful. Quayle on the other hand, doesn't really offer anything spectacular. Outside Faldorn's Hut at 15 you will have to fight another three enemies; Dalok, an Adherent, and a Shadow Druid. Dalok drops the long sword Flame Tongue +1 and the club Gnasher +2. Before going in, make sure to prepare your party's druid for single combat. He or she will have to challenge Faldorn. Enter Faldorn's Hut. You will find Faldorn at 3.
