Nov 13, 2023 · My 2008 recently failed its MoT because the manual dipped beam height adjusters failed. The garage replace the OEM headlights with pattern parts and passed the car. However, ever since, the blue main beam indicator in the dash doesn't illuminate.

Dec 6, 2018 · 9.00 is the common earth, 12.00 is for dipped and 3.00 is for main beam. If you turn the ignition on and just the dipped beam switch then check the headlight wire connectors on the car for voltage. Of the three connections one is for dipped/green, one is for main/blue and the third is the common earth.
