Feb 15, 2025 · My experience working directly for the Guerini/Fabarm USA gunsmith shop is that Fabarm O/Us are quite solid guns with a lot of refinements (bore architecture, choke tube quality and dimensions, sear/hammer notch geometry, hardness of hammers/sears/etc) that the Citori simply doesn’t have—good guns though they are.

Oct 1, 2024 · Only guns with floating barrels/hanger systems, like K80 and Kolar, are capable of changing and re-changing regulation. Fabarm made the RS12 with the barrel hanger system, but went away from hat because conventional side ribs is what they’re used to and set up to produce.

Apr 6, 2023 · Since then, Fabarm has really done their homework and it shows. The barrels are now a bit lighter and more responsive, the forearm is improved, the already good triggers are crisper, and so it goes. Little refinements add up to the point where the current Elos 2 Elite is too good for me to ignore.

Feb 20, 2013 · The Axis RS 12 weighs about 7.6 pounds and is slightly muzzle heavy. I like a balanced gun, so I ordered a quality eight-ounce Fabarm Kinetik recoil reducer (about $75) from Fabarm USA that takes less than five minutes to bolt into the rear of the stock.

Jul 2, 2013 · Fabarm flush chokes (inner HP, as supplied on the L4S hunting line and the XLR5 Waterfowler) are interchangeable with the extended chokes. The Fabarm designation (#2, #5. #7, etc.) indicates actual constrictions in one-tenth of one millimeter, which is 0.0393701 inch. That's roughly .004 inch per increment of constriction.

Dec 28, 2015 · Fabarm definitely doesn't have the name recognition. People are noticing the gun right away and want to try it out. Most haven't heard of Fabarm but like what they see. I Don't understand that Fabarm has had the Giant L4S adds around the page for at least a month and yet don't have their own forum. Go figure.

Both outstanding shotguns, but I believe the Fabarm is built better, fits better, and I shoot it better. Jan 24, 2024 · I bought a Fabarm Waterfowler a couple of years back and after a good cleaning and lubrication as per the manual I took it out clay shooting. Using 1oz 1200 fps shells it never missed a beat. A couple thousand target loads later it has still not had an issue.

Jan 28, 1998 · Fabarm's customer service has generally been very helpful for both of us, less so on his last gun now. Unfortunately, we both needed it between our 5 guns. There is a member at a club I shoot at that has an L4s, new a couple years ago. I happened to squad up with him one of the days my xlr5 wasn't working.
