FSX has been installed and activated already, but the Acceleration CD never finishes the installation while validating the components registration process.

Aug 18, 2016 · Installing it before installing SP2 may have kinda screwed up your FSX install. I think you are looking at a total FSX re-install on that computer. Now if SP2 was there at the install of FSP, but you then uninstalled SP2, I think the same situation is there.

Aug 20, 2016 · FSX:SE is an adaptation of what used to be called the FSX Gold Edition back when FSX was sold on DVDs. Gold Edition combined FSX Deluxe and the ACCELERATION Pack -- which as a separate expansion included SP1 and SP2. So, to sum this up ... FSX:SE is FSX Deluxe + SP1 + SP2 + ACCELERATION expansion pack.

Insert your Acceleration Pack DVD. Browse to the subfolder called SDK\SP1a\ Install the SDK SP1A from there using fsx_sdk_sp1a.exe, (dated 26/09/2007, size 165,569KB).

Feb 14, 2018 · I installed msxml4 SP2 and FSX will at least now get to the splash screen. It's mentions Living Water Config file not valid in my "hidden account" whatever that is. Program then crashes. The event viewer now mentions "simprop.dll" as the faulting module. I replaced this dll with an offline copy of a FSX directory.

Mar 30, 2021 · FSX-SE has SP2 included. Make sure your installer is pointed to the correct location. Older products may be looking for the DVD version's default install location. FSX Steam Edition installs to your Steam directory so you'll want to target the installer to that location. Look for Steam\SteamApps\Common\FSX.
