Mar 20, 2019 · It does look like it will be a bit more difficult to spectate than the old layout. FSA, FSG, and FSS all have elevated areas for viewing the tracks. I don't see any way they could safely have spectators cross into the center of the track without renting a bridge.

Anyone have a layout already made for a FSAE style autocross or endurance course? LFS-S2 is pretty rockin and I've been using the autox layout editor to check out configurations for tests i'm running later this summer.

The course layout is governed with the following definitions of track features: Straights: No longer than 60.00m (200.00ft) with hairpins at both ends (or) no longer than 45.00m (150.00ft) with wide turns on the ends. Constant Turns: 23.00m (75.00ft) to 45.00m (148.00ft) diameter.

Aug 8, 2022 · I'd like to ask about autocross and endurance track data. Since our team is new to FSAE and currently a 3rd year and have ever only raced in FS Australasia. If I want to do lap track simulation for autocross and endurance for another formula student event, like FSG, FS East, etc.

Apr 25, 2023 · Take the image of the race track that is posted online, then scale it over Google Earth, and draw out a spline curve that fits the track. From that spline curve, you should be able to get radius and length data for each segment of track.

Oct 7, 2017 · Layout The following download contains a set of two track configurations: FSG1 and TOM1. Each have a track width of 4.5m, with a slalom component built in. Race configurations have not been set for the tracks, thus please only run the tracks in PRACTICE mode to ensure smooth operation.

Jul 19, 2020 · The track mod replicates the Formula Student UK course located at the Silverstone circuit. The cones are laid out along Copse corner and part of the national straight. The timing gates have been set to replicate the actual FSUK sprint and endurance events.
