Jan 13, 2014 · The grip texture is very aggressive on the FNS and I like it better than the FNP. I added the Guntape to the FNPs grip and it make a big difference without resorting to stippling. There is a significant difference in slide width as you can see that the FNS9 is narrower than the FNP9. Lengths are similar with the FNP being more rounded.

Jun 3, 2009 · The 9mm and .40 frames are the same. Its just the mag well is larger on the .40. I heard that the Beretta 92 and 96 pistols had the same mag well and used similar magazines so during the Clinton ban all you had to do was buy a ten round .40 caliber magazine and you had a 13 or 15 round 9mm magazine.

Mar 28, 2018 · I have a 9mm Conversion barrel for my FNS-40 (from EFK Firedragon, which may be one of a few firms offering after-market barrels for the newer FN pistols). The barrel works beautifully with non-hollow-point 9mm ammo when using the FNS-40 magazines, but hollow point ammo doesn't feed well from the 40 mags.

Feb 12, 2011 · Yes a fnp barrel will fit an FNX. However a 9 mm barrel will not work with a 40 slide and vise versa. as long as you use the same barrel caliber you will be fine. Save Share
