I was very impressed on this weapon. I had fired 100rds with no malfunctions, the recoil was also nice and made it easy for a follow up shots and double tapping.

Nov 14, 2010 · I was told by FNX(I know, the company itself) that mine was the only known issue with the mag spring and that there has only been one other that had to be returned immediately for service. Out of over 4000 already shipped I don't think that is so bad.

Dec 18, 2011 · Ok, I need some instruction on how to re-assemble the fire control assembly on my FNX-40. The Cause: Slide was pulled to the rear while a trigger lock was attached, when a "pop" was heard and the hammer got stuck from half cocked to full cocked. Jan 30, 2013 · I have both the FNX 40 and FNX 9 and have observed the following (sorry, no experience with the FNS): - the magazine for the FNX 9 will fit (somewhat loosely) and lock the slide back in the FNX 40 frame but the magazine for the FNX 40 will not fit in the FNX 9 - the entire slide/barrel assembly for each will swap between the 9 or 40 frames

May 31, 2012 · Here is a list of my holster selection for my FNX-40s&w and FNS-9mm. Now most nylon holsters like Uncle Mikes "side kick" shoulder holster will fit both guns. These are some diverse holsters and all fit the guns perfectly. The Galco paddle holster for the Sig P226 fits the FNS-9 perfectly and the FNX-40 "cocked and locked".

Mar 28, 2018 · I have a 9mm Conversion barrel for my FNS-40 (from EFK Firedragon, which may be one of a few firms offering after-market barrels for the newer FN pistols). The barrel works beautifully with non-hollow-point 9mm ammo when using the FNS-40 magazines, but hollow point ammo doesn't feed well from the 40 mags.

Jun 17, 2014 · Took the FNX 40 and 50 rounds of Underwood 125 gr JHP out to the range a few days ago. Swapped out the 40 barrel for the .357 Sig....and almost forgot to do that...dummie me. Shot two mags of 357 sig (28 rds)and had 8 failures to fire from what appeared to light primer strikes.....kinda concerned me.
