Dec 7, 2023 · My FM3 and FM9 are both set for +4 dBu, and both have the same output level for the same presets. Are you sure your board channels are the same, including any pads? +4 dBu is a pretty hot signal. You also usually don't need to turn the knob up all the way for the line level outputs. +4 dBu is the nominal output.

Feb 26, 2024 · BUT the TRS output jacks on the FM9 are "humbuster" signals and not balanced, designed to send an unbalanced signal to effects or amps. If you need an output to send to FOH or an interface, I would recommend reserving the XLR output for that purpose.

Sep 17, 2022 · Seems like we should have a thread for the awesome FM9 here. Unfortunately I’m not one to give out tips and tricks. The best I can do is point you to Leon’s ( @2112 ) videos or suggest one consider Austin Buddy’s presets which are awesome.
