May 14, 2007 · Yeah, they can wheelie. They wheelie even easier when you have Heli-bars on them, so your weight distribution is a little further back. Had a little surprise when I was messing around with a friend on his 900RR. The front came up quite easily. Not the best wheelie platform.

Jul 17, 2006 · If you really want to pull a wheelie, try in second gear around 20mph and just "blip" the throttle quickly (obviously not on a public road but somewhere empty and with plenty of space). To start with, don't let the wheel get more than an inch or so above the ground, when you feel the front lifting ease of the throttle.

Dec 11, 2020 · I can't seem to get the front end up on my FJR 1300. The bike is a monster and has torque like crazy, but I cannot seem to get the wheel up at all with clutch up wheelie technique. In first gear, I'll go about 10mph the clutch, rev to near 6k, and release the clutch. instead of blasting off like any other bike, it skips forward a bit and that's it.

Dec 10, 2021 · This bike is very capable of popping wheelies. They are fun to do but it's a science mastering them on this bike. Took me a long time before I could perform them properly. Oh and fork seals don't like wheelies on a 1300 😂
