Apr 21, 2014 · A local buddy of mine has a 91 FJ80 that is quite well built but is a bit of a fright to look at... a few trail "adjustments' to the sheet metal and a general approach of uglyness - in a really cool trail truck way.

Jul 7, 2007 · I thought you guys might be interested in my axle swap. I had a dana 44 on the front of my buggy (originally built by 35xj, aka Dave) and it did the job fine with only one breakage in a pretty active 10 months of wheeling.

Apr 1, 2008 · hmm might just have my shafted heat treated and cryoed for now and see how it goes. i really wana try to keep this buggy all toyota. if i ever swap axles i'd go to a diamond or a spider housing. might just save up and get a diamond built with full float for the fj80 third.

Jan 30, 2016 · Can you cut & flip the fj80 front axle to make it a rear steer axle like the Yota mini truck axle? That's how my rear axle is done. The 8" Yota stuff has held up well in my Honda buggy.

Carnage with new Buggy! - Super Flex. This buggy can do some amazing things. One of which is get to about a 75+ degree angle! I should have tried to go even higher on this rock but there was a poor branch that I was stomping on. Just amazing! I have no doubt that this thing could do close to 80-85 before it wanted to tip. :)

Trail Runs - Carnage with new Buggy! Jay and I decided to take the new buggy out for it's first test. All I can say is amazing! The new buggy didn't even have to open it's eyes at carnage today....walked everything I could throw at it. Didn't have any CO2 to run the lockers (my bad) but didn't need them.
